A Monumental Step for Animals in Mexico City!
On Tuesday, March 18, 2025, a historic and compassionate change took place in Mexico City, the heart of bullfighting in the largest bullfighting country in the world. In a powerful 61-1 vote, lawmakers made the groundbreaking decision to ban traditional bullfighting, putting an end to the killing of bulls and the use of sharp objects that have long caused them harm.
While the tradition of bullfighting can continue in a more humane form, the cruelty that has accompanied it for centuries will no longer be tolerated.
