Whiskers, Paws and Love Inc. is happy to announce that another state has made the declawing of cats, except in rare cases of medical necessity, illegal. Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey signed the bill into law on January 9, 2025. Massachusetts joins New York, Maryland, and Virginia in banning declawing.
